Instead of reaching for another coffee ☕, try Breath of Joy - a quick, energising breathwork practice that you can do in under a minute.
This simple technique helps to:
Boost your energy
Clear mental fog
Reset your nervous system
Shift feelings of stress, overwhelm or anxiety
How to Practice Breath of Joy*:
🔸 Stand with your feet hip-width apart and knees soft
🔸 Inhale in three short sniffs through your nose - each breath topping up the last - while swinging your arms:
In front of you
Out to the sides
Over your head
🔸 Exhale with a big "haaa" through your mouth as you bend at the hips, knees bent, arms swinging down
🔸 Repeat 5–10 times at your own pace, keeping it fluid and light
🔸 After the final round, close your eyes and notice how you feel
This movement-based breath is a great pick-me-up, it’s playful, powerful, and surprisingly effective.
