CONSCIOUS CONNECTED BREATHWORK JOURNEY | LONDON

  • Seven Sisters Sanctuary London N15 4NL United kingdom (map)

An intimate breathwork JOURnEy in North London.

Join me for an evening of breathwork at our cosy little sanctuary in Seven Sisters 🤍

A couple of hours to step away from the busyness of life, get out of your head and drop back into your body.

We'll start with some gentle movement (and probably a little shake to a vibey tune too) before getting comfy on our mats and moving into a conscious connected breathwork journey.

If you're new to it, conscious connected breathwork is a continuous, rhythmic way of breathing that can help us quieten some of the chatter in our minds and connect more deeply with what's going on underneath.

And every session is different.

You might feel deeply relaxed. You might feel energised. Emotions or physical sensations might come up. You might suddenly have clarity about something. You could have a big experience, or a really quiet one. There isn't a right way for it to feel, and there's nothing you need to make happen.

I'll be there guiding you throughout with music, breath, movement, sound and affirmations, with optional acupressure/ bodywork too.

Most importantly, you’re always in charge of your own breath and your own experience. I'll offer guidance and invitations along the way, but you're encouraged to listen to your body… you can slow things down, take a pause, move, make sound, stay completely still or return to your natural breath whenever you need to.

We'll finish with plenty of time to rest and integrate before slowly coming back together.

These in person journeys are small… a maximum of 9 people… which means I can really be there to support everyone in the room.

Whether you've breathed with me a million times or you've never tried breathwork before, you're very welcome here.

💫 What others are saying...

✨"Brenna is amazing & has a real gift for facilitating breathwork. I've found all of her sessions, whether in person 1-2-1, group or online to be incredibly transformative. Breathwork has helped me breakthrough some real barriers in my life, given me inspiration & calmed me down in times of stress. I've tried various types of breathwork with various people, & Brenna is by far & away my favourite person to take me deeper!"

WHAT CAN BREATHWORK HELP WITH?

Our breath is pretty amazing. The way we breathe is closely connected to how we feel, and consciously changing our breathing can affect both our body and nervous system.

People often tell me they feel calmer, lighter, clearer or more deeply connected to themselves. Breathwork can also help us notice emotions, sensations and patterns that we might not be so aware of when we're rushing around in everyday life.

It may help with things like:

✨ Feeling calmer and more grounded
✨ Reducing stress and tension
✨ Getting out of your head and into your body
✨ Feeling more connected to yourself
✨ Creating space for emotions to move
✨ Greater clarity and focus
✨ Deep rest and relaxation

Sometimes breathwork is powerful and emotional. Sometimes it's peaceful. Sometimes it's wild and wonderful. Sometimes you just have a really lovely lie down and feel a bit more like yourself afterwards. It’s all welcome.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

We'll have time at the beginning to arrive, chat and go through the breath together, so don't worry if you've never done anything like this before.

We'll then do a little movement before settling onto our mats for the main breathwork journey.

I'll guide you throughout, but rather than pushing you towards a particular experience, my approach is about helping you stay connected to yourself and what feels right for your body.

I may offer acupressure or gentle bodywork during the session, but this is always optional and I'll always ask for your consent beforehand.

Afterwards we'll move into a lovely long integration (usually everyone's favourite bit!), followed by a little time to journal or share if you want to when you come back.

And then hopefully you'll float back home feeling a little different from when you arrived ✨

A LITTLE ABOUT MY APPROACH

My approach to breathwork has evolved quite a lot over the years.

These days my work is much more somatic, nervous-system aware and trauma-informed. For me that means less pushing, less striving for a big "release", and much more curiosity, patience and listening to what your body is actually telling you.

You don't need to breathe harder to be doing it "properly", you don't need to have an emotional release, and you don't need to force yourself through something that doesn't feel right. I’ll guide you throughout, but you’re always in charge of your own breath and your own experience

IS BREATHWORK SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE?

Conscious connected breathwork is a more active breathing practice, so there are some times where it might not be appropriate or where I will need to adapt the breath for you.
