HEART-OPENING BREATHWORK, SOUND + CACAO JOURNEY
With Brenna Duncan + Michelle Cade
Join us for an intimate three hour journey through breath, body and sound, combining ceremonial cacao, Conscious Connected Breathwork and an immersive live sound journey in Seven Sisters Sanctuary.
Designed to take you out of your head and back into your body, we'll begin by sharing cacao together… a chance to arrive, slow down and set an intention for the evening.
From there, Brenna will guide you through some gentle movement before settling onto the mat for a 40 min Conscious Connected Breath practice. Using a continuous, rhythmic breath, you'll be invited to explore what's present in your body, soften any tension and create space for whatever wants to move.
As the breath settles, there's nothing more you need to do.
Get cosy under a blanket, Michelle then takes you into a 40 min live sound journey, weaving together instruments, voice, nature soundscapes, binaural and monaural beats and original samples to create layers of sound that move around and through you.
What begins with cacao and breath gradually gives way to stillness and deep rest… a space to switch off, integrate and reconnect with yourself.
Every experience is different. You might leave feeling lighter or more energised, deeply relaxed, emotionally moved, clearer, more connected… or simply a little different from when you walked in.
With just nine spaces, this is a small and intimate gathering held at our welcoming North London sanctuary in Seven Sisters.
No previous breathwork, cacao or sound experience is needed. Whether this is your first breathwork session or your fiftieth, you're so welcome.
““Brenna & Michelle create a very welcoming & inclusive environment. The session was curated very well – from the intro to the reintegration it flowed seamlessly. I was completely lost in the moment throughout both the breathing & sound. I had a deep dive into some interesting subconscious spaces with some profound personal insights. Still floating the day after!””

We'll begin by arriving together, sharing ceremonial cacao and taking a little time to settle into the space and connect with an intention for the journey ahead.

““Brenna & Michelle create such a safe, inclusive space. The whole journey flowed beautifully and I felt completely held throughout””
WHY BREATHWORK?
So many of us spend much of our lives in our heads… thinking, planning, analysing and moving quickly from one thing to the next.
Conscious Connected Breathwork offers an opportunity to shift attention away from the thinking mind and towards the body.
Using a continuous, rhythmic breath, we can begin to notice sensations, emotions and patterns that might otherwise get drowned out by the noise of everyday life.
Some people leave feeling calmer and more grounded. Others experience greater clarity, emotional release, renewed energy or a deeper sense of connection to themselves.
There is no particular experience you're supposed to have. Every breathwork journey is different, and you'll be encouraged to listen to your body throughout.
THE SOUND JOURNEY
Sound offers a beautiful counterpoint to the more active breathwork practice.
Once the breath is complete, there's nothing to achieve or work towards. You can simply lie back and receive.
Michelle's distinctive approach brings together live instruments, voice, nature soundscapes, binaural and monaural beats and original samples, creating an immersive landscape of sound.
The combination of rhythm, vibration and sound can invite deep relaxation and offer space for the body and mind to settle after the breathwork… allowing the experience to land in its own time.
CEREMONIAL CACAO
We'll begin our journey by sharing ceremonial cacao together.
Used traditionally in ritual and ceremony, cacao offers us a simple way to mark the transition from everyday life into intentional space… slowing down, arriving in the body and connecting with what we'd like to bring into the evening.
Many people experience cacao as warming, grounding and gently heart-opening, making it a beautiful way to begin our journey together.
If cacao isn't suitable for you or you'd prefer not to drink it, that's absolutely fine (let us know and we can make you some tea) - you can still take part fully in the rest of the experience.
“Such a profound experience… the breathwork brought things to the surface and the sound helped everything settle. I left feeling lighter and clearer”

MEET YOUR GUIDEs
Besties and house mates, we set up Seven Sisters Sanctuary in north London together in 2022 to host wellness workshops and private one-to-one sessions. We love sharing our passion for breathwork and sound individually, but there’s a certain kind of magic that happens when we share them together.
