into the wild: A half day gathering inviting you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect WITH yourself, with others and the natural world around you.
We’ll begin indoors in Seven Sisters Sanctuary with a guided breathwork journey, before wrapping up warm and heading out together for a gentle, guided walk in nature to support integration. Our time together outdoors is an extension of the breathwork, offering space for whatever has shifted to land in your body, your nervous system, and your heart.
Breathwork can open us deeply, shifting energy, emotions, and awareness, and walking outside afterwards helps these experiences settle. Gentle movement in nature supports grounding and regulation.
After hiking the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal and more recently 120km of the Camino Portuguese, I was reminded just how powerful walking can be. Whether solo or shared, it helps us feel present, reflective, and connected.
Research echoes this… in the book ‘52 Ways to Walk’ by Annabel Streets, walking is described not just as movement, but as a deeply human and social practice. Anthropologists Tim Ingold and Jo Lee Vergunst describe walking as a “profoundly social activity”. Walking together can create a sense of safety and belonging, encourage connection, and strengthen relationships. Person to person contact also supports the release of feel good neurotransmitters such as dopamine and oxytocin, which are closely linked to bonding and emotional wellbeing.
This January gathering offers a balance of inner exploration and embodied connection, with space for quiet reflection, gentle conversation, and simply being together in nature.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This half day gathering is designed to feel supportive, grounding, and spacious.
✨ We’ll open with a short intention setting circle
✨ Settle into a fully guided conscious connected breathwork journey in the sanctuary
✨ Expect cosy blankets, gentle guidance, and supportive acupressure (optional)
✨ We’ll then wrap up and head outside together for a relaxed, guided walk along the canal and through nearby marshes and wetlands
✨ There’ll be space for quiet reflection, gentle conversation, and simply being together in nature
✨ You’ll end your day feeling more present, connected, and grounded
No breathwork experience is needed, just come as you are.
WHY BREATHWORK AND WALKING TOGETHER?
Breathwork works directly with the nervous system, helping to release any tension held in the body, bring clarity, and create space for change.
Walking in nature afterwards offers a beautiful way to integrate. Gentle movement supports regulation, helps insights settle, and invites the inner journey to meet the outer world. Walking together also supports connection and belonging, something our nervous systems deeply crave.
This combo creates a soft but powerful way to reflect, ground, and connect as a group, and I am so excited to share this with you!
💫 What others are saying ABOUT BREATHWORK...
✨“This was my first proper face-to-face breathwork session & I have to say I had such a wonderful & profound experience. Brenna was very welcoming, warm & I felt at ease & safe. The release I experienced was amazing & I felt so much peace in the days that followed. Something really shifted!”
✨ “You created such a warm, welcoming and supportive atmosphere. I really loved it. And the chocolate at the end was amazing! I’m feeling contemplative & grounded, but mainly joyful and grateful to have found you!”✨"Brenna is amazing, & has a real gift for facilitating breathwork. I've found all of her sessions, whether in person 1-2-1, group or online to be incredibly transformative. Breathwork has helped me breakthrough some real barriers in my life, given me inspiration & calmed me down in times of stress. I've tried various types of breathwork with various people, & Brenna is by far & away my favourite person to take me deeper!"
About the walk and accessibility
The walk will follow flat paths along the canal and through local marshes, woodland and wetlands. The terrain is likely to be muddy at this time of year, so sturdy boots or waterproof footwear are important.
✨ The pace will be gentle and unhurried
✨ We’ll take pauses as needed and move together as a group
✨ There’s a stop for coffee/ tea along the way
✨ You’re always invited to listen to your body and do what feels right for you
Because of the natural terrain, this part of the gathering may not be suitable for wheelchair users or those needing fully paved or step free paths.
If you’re unsure whether this feels accessible for you, or you’d like to talk it through before booking, please feel free to email me. I’m very happy to chat.
